These General Terms And Conditions Of Sale concern the online purchase of products on the Antica Cappelleria Troncarelli website belonging to Antica Cappelleria Troncarelli with headquarters in Via della Cuccagna, 15 – Rome.
These purchases are reserved for end-user customers and exclude parties such as retailers, wholesalers, resellers, professionals, etc. who intend to resell the products to third parties.
Each purchase transaction shall comply with the provisions of Legislative Decree nr. 185/99 and, with regard to the protection of confidentiality, it shall conform to the regulations defined in Law nr. 675/96 as amended.

You the customer, in the course of your relations with Antica Cappelleria Troncarelli, by the online confirmation of your purchase order, unconditionally accept and agree to observe the general and payment conditions defined below, confirming that you have read and accepted all the information provided to you under the regulations mentioned above, and also recognising that Antica Cappelleria Troncarelli does not consider itself bound by different conditions unless previously agreed in writing.

These General Terms And Conditions Of Sale must be examined online by customer visitors to the Antica Cappelleria Troncarelli site before they confirm their purchases. The submission of the order confirmation, therefore, implies full knowledge and acceptance of the same conditions.
The customer agrees and undertakes, upon completion of the online purchase procedure, to print and keep these general conditions of sale, previously examined and accepted during the purchase procedure, in order to fully satisfy the provisions of articles 3 and 4 of Legislative Decree nr. 185/1999.

The products, available as illustrated and described online in the relevant descriptions and data sheets, are purchased by the customer at the price indicated therein, to be confirmed at the time of order confirmation, in addition to the transport costs as specified in art. 6 and also displayed in the transaction information during purchase.
Before final order confirmation, the customer is presented with the unit cost of each product chosen, the total cost in the event of multiple purchases and the related shipping charges. Subsequent to purchase confirmation and upon completion of the transaction, the customer will receive an email message containing the date, the total amount and all relevant details of the order.

Payment for the purchased products and their shipping costs shall be effected by the customer at the time of the order by bank transfer or one of the available credit cards indicated online.

Payment by credit card
We accept all major credit cards. The credit card is the most efficient and convenient payment method.
The transaction takes place online via the BankPass Web system. We accept Visa, Master Card and American Express. User-related data is transmitted with SSL compliant encryption (Secure Socket Layer) on the Banca Sella server that ensures data transmission security according to applicable bank procedures. Note: the transaction cost is charged to the customer’s account at the time of the order.

The purchased products will be delivered from Antica Cappelleria Troncarelli to the address specified by the customer.
Each shipment shall contain:

• an invoice
• the goods ordered

Delivery shall take place during all working days. Antica Cappelleria Troncarelli reserves the right to make multiple partial deliveries without penalty.
The couriers do not call in advance and do not negotiate requests to effect delivery at specific times.
Orders will be processed only on fully available goods.
Delivery times and the related costs are dependent on the availability of the product, the method of delivery and the selected courier.
The customer is required to verify on arrival that the package is intact, not damaged nor wet.
Only after this inspection, the customer must proceed to accept delivery, after which no dispute may be raised concerning the appearance of the ordered goods as delivered. In the event of discrepancy between the order and delivery as outlined in the above procedure, the customer shall refuse delivery, present a direct complaint to the courier company and send a relevant notification of the occurrence by email to the Online Customer Service.

Products purchased through Antica Cappelleria Troncarelli are subject to aplicable regulations pursuant to Legislative Decree nr. 24 dated 2.2.2002 (Official Journal issue 57, 8.3.2002) on contracts and warranties for the sale of consumer goods and, to the extent not provided for therein, as specified by relevant provisions of the Civil Code.
Warranty is applicable to a Product that manifests a lack of conformity and/or malfunctions that were not evident at the time of purchase, provided that the product has been used properly ie. with due diligence in respect of its purpose as indicated by the operating instructions and rules in the user manual and any other relevant technical documentation.
The warranty will not be applicable in the event of negligence or carelessness in the use of the product. The warranty is personal and is applicable only to the original purchaser, being restricted to end-user customers and not to dealers, retailers, etc.
Antica Cappelleria Troncarelli reserves the right to verify the defect declared by the customer and to effect replacement after inspection.
A replacement request will be processed only if the returned package includes the following documents: purchase invoice, order number and date and a brief description of the defect.

Purchases made on the Antica Cappelleria Troncarelli website are governed by Italian law on mail order sales. If you make a mistake in your order and you receive an undesired item, you have 10 days from the date of delivery to exercise the right to recede, namely, the right to return the goods. We will accept without hesitation the return of any article provided it is in perfect condition and we shall refund the full purchase price (excluding costs of packaging and shipping, as decreed by Italian law).
In the case of a request to exchange goods (for example in the case of a request for a different size from the one ordered) the replacement is conditioned by a return that is in perfect condition and by the warehouse availability of the product to be replaced (a condition which will be promptly verified and communicated). The shipment of the goods to be replaced is the responsibility of the Customer.
